Social Media Coordinator/Graphic Artist - San Bernardino

Hi, my name is Kameron Bryn. I am the Social Media Coordinator & Graphic Artist at Rolling Start Inc. I am the author and/or manager of the posts you may see on our Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. The current changes and updates to the website and logo were also implemented by myself. I also co-host the LGBTQ+ support group with our wonderful volunteer, Kathleen Willmon, and I teach the biweekly computer classes. I grew up in Norway and moved to the Bay Area when I was 16, before moving down to the Inland Empire in 2016.

I developed fibromyalgia when I was 15 and subsequently dropped out of high school due to lack of accommodations. I tested out of high school at 17 after completing 2 years of “traditional” high school.

While working part-time at Rolling Start I am also attending Salon Success Academy part-time, studying cosmetology. I am also a YO! Volunteer. YO! Disabled and Proud is a year-long CFILC (California Foundation for Independent Living Center) program that gives monthly grants to volunteers at Independent Living Centers. As I YO! Volunteer I also volunteer at Rolling Start outside of my work hours.

Beyond work and school, in the little free time I have, I spend with my ESA (emotional support animal) cat, Baldur, I do crafts such as cross-stitch, scrapbooking, sewing, and random projects. Art, such as visual art and literature, I’ve written a poetry book and a radio-play script, and of course, hair & makeup. I also enjoy playing video games and watching TV and movies. I also take part in activism, I advocate for civil rights for individuals with disabilities, people of color, women and the LGBTQ+ community, as well as socio-economic equality and environmentalism.

My personal mission statement is to find, enhance, and create beauty in the world.
